Under this promotion, Eligible Customers will be able to pay in advance, the monthly fixed rental payments in respect of the Eligible Rate Plans. Eligible Customers will have the option to pay in advance for any one of the following periods and receive the respective discounts specified below on the fixed rental amount paid based on the period of payment:
(a) 3 (three) months – 5% (five percent) discount
(b) 6 (six) months - 10% (ten percent) discount
(c) 12 (twelve) months- 15% (fifteen percent) discount
(d) 24 (twenty-four) months - 20% (twenty percent) discount
For avoidance of doubt, the first month for the purposes of calculating the durations mentioned above in clause 6 shall be considered as the month on which the advance payment was made and whilst the full monthly fixed rental amount of the Eligible Rate Plan will need to be settled by the Customer for the first month, the discount mentioned above shall only be applied to the prorated portion of the rental amount pertaining to the period from and including the date of advance payment until the remainder of the first month.
The advance payments and respective discounts stated hereunder only relate to the monthly fixed rental amounts of the respective Eligible Rate Plans and if an Eligible Customer incurs any additional amounts (in addition to the said monthly rental amount) including but not limited to where the Eligible Customer has subscribed to add-on services in respect of the Eligible Customer’s subject mobile number (referred to herein as “MSISDN”), the Eligible Customer shall be billed for such amounts on a monthly basis as per Ooredoo’s standard billing process and the Eligible Customer shall settle the amount as required in accordance with the same process. If the Customer fails to make such payment as required, irrespective of whether an advance payment has been made under this Offer, suspension and/or deactivation of the MSISDN will be carried out as per standard process of Ooredoo. By taking up this Offer, Eligible Customers consent and agree that even if they are unable to use the service due to suspension and/or disconnection as aforesaid, any amounts paid in advance under this offer shall not be refunded or returned and that Ooredoo shall not be liable to pay Eligible Customers any form of compensation or reimbursement in relation to the same.
Upon making the advance payments under this Offer, Eligible Customers shall receive as a bonus, 18 (eighteen) GB regular data each month, for 3 (three) months starting from the month on which the advance payment was made. For avoidance of doubt, the bonus data received as such shall not be prorated and irrespective of the date of the month on which the advance payment is made, the Eligible Customer shall receive the full amount of monthly bonus data for that month. The bonus data received hereunder for the respective month shall not be carried forward to subsequent months and will expire if it is not utilized within the respective month. The bonus data given to Eligible Customers under this Offer shall be given only once per MSISDN, irrespective of the number of times advance payments are made under this Offer.
Eligible Customers will be able to take up this Offer and make advance payments multiple times, within the Promotional Period. However, Eligible Customers shall not be able to make subsequent advance payments under this Offer, unless the period to which any previous advance payment pertains, has completed.
Provided that an Eligible Customer makes an advance payment within the Promotional Period, such Eligible Customer shall receive the corresponding Benefits in accordance with these terms and conditions irrespective of the end of the Promotional Period.
The discount specified in clause 6 and the bonus data specified in clause 9 shall be the benefits provided under the Offer and shall collectively referred to herein as “Benefits”.
Eligible Customers shall not be allowed to change their current rate plans if;
(a) they have made an advance payment under this Offer; and
(b) where the period to which the advance payment pertains has not completed.
Where an Eligible Customer who has made an advance payment under the Offer requests for voluntary suspension or disconnection of the respective MSISDN, Ooredoo shall provide such Eligible Customer with the refund of the prorated amount of the advance payment pertaining to the remaining period from the date of such suspension or disconnection (out of the total period pertaining to which the advance payment was made), in accordance with Ooredoo’s policies and processes relating to the same. For avoidance of doubt, upon such suspension or disconnection, the Eligible Customer shall not be entitled to any further Benefits in respect of the suspended or disconnected MSISDN. However, the aforementioned does not limit an Eligible Customer from reactivating any suspended or deactivated MSISDN and taking up the Offer again in order to receive the Benefits in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions
