How much is Ooredoo Prepaid SIM?
 
Ooredoo Prepaid SIM can be purchased for MVR 50 + GST. Our Prepaid SIM includes MVR 20 credit valid for 30 days and 500MB Data valid for 24 hoursallowing you to use our services right away.
How do I activate my Ooredoo Prepaid SIM?
 
Service will be activated when the first SMS or call is made or when internet is used via SIM
How much should I recharge at once if I want to have year long SIM validity?
 
You can recharge with MVR 500 or above to get year long SIM validity
What are the call rates and SMS rate for my Ooredoo Prepaid SIM?
 
Call rate within Ooredoo is MVR 0.99 per minute whereas call rate to other networks is MVR 1.39 per minute.
SMS rate for all local numbers is MVR 0.20 and international SMS will be charged MVR 1
Things you need to know
 
For new Prepaid connections, initial Credit Validity is 60 days from the date of purchase.
HD Voice is available for all Mobile customers using an Ooredoo certified HD Voice compatible smartphone, across 4G covered locations.
Short code calling and texting will be charged, and will not be deducted from free minutes and SMS.
Additional 8% GST is applicable for all telecom products and services.
