Promotion Overview

1. ‘Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion’ is a promotional offer made to Customers of Ooredoo Maldives PLC (hereinafter referred to as ‘Ooredoo”) whereby Eligible Customers (as defined herein) will be offered limited time free access to SonyLIV’s premium subscription, enabling Eligible Customers to watch the Euro Cup 2020 though the service (hereinafter referred to as ‘Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion’).

2. Existing and new Customers of Ooredoo will receive this offer in accordance with the terms specified herein.

Duration

3. Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion will commence from 15:00:00 hours of 10th June 2021 and will continue until Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion is withdrawn by Ooredoo or based on availability of the limited number of ‘Promo Codes’.

Eligibility

4. Customers of Ooredoo that have existing subscriptions to the following services of Ooredoo as well as new Customers who subscribe to those services after the commencement of the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion (referred to herein as ‘Eligible Customers’) will receive the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer as specified below;

5. Notwithstanding the above clause 4, the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer will be made to new Customers subscribing to the above services after the commencement of the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion, subject to the availability of the limited number of ‘Promo Codes’.

6. Regular subscription mechanism shall apply for subscription by Customers to the services of Ooredoo which are included in clause 4 above.

Acceptance, Redemption and Usage

7. Upon commencement of the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion, all Eligible Customers will receive an SMS along with a link to retrieve a Promo Code that can be redeemed to avail the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer (referred to herein as ‘Promo Code’). Eligible Customers who subscribe to the services mentioned in above clause 4 after the commencement of the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion, will receive an SMS along with the subscription confirmation subject to clause 5 above.

8. Eligible Customers will receive the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer SMS to the mobile number (referred to herein as ‘MSISDN’) for which the service mentioned in above clause 4 was subscribed; and for Eligible Customers who have subscribed to the SuperNet services mentioned in above clause 4, the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer SMS will be sent to the MSISDN listed as the contact for the Eligible Customer at the time of the offer.

9. In order to retrieve the Promo Code, the Eligible Customer will be required to follow the link provided in the SMS. The link will take the Eligible Customer to a web page where the Eligible Customer will be verified though One Time Password (OTP) sent to the respective Eligible Customer. Subsequently, once verified, the Eligible Customer will receive the Promo Code which can be redeemed to avail the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer.

10. Eligible Customers will have 7 (seven) days (from the receipt of SMS notification) to follow the aforementioned step and retrieve the Promo Code; and if an Eligible Customer has not retrieved the Promo Code at the end of this period, the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer for such Eligible Customer shall expire and no additional offers will be made to such customer under this Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion.

11. Once the Eligible Customer retrieves the Promo Code, the Eligible Customer will be able to redeem the Promo Code through the web link (https://www.sonyliv.com/activate_offer) or through SonyLIV’s mobile android application. In order to redeem the Promo Code, the MSISDN used by Eligible Customers to log in to SonyLIV should be the same number to which the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer was made; and Eligible Customers who use a different MSISDN to log in to SonyLIV will not be able to redeem the Promo Code.

12. The Promo Code, once retrieved by the Eligible Customer, will be valid for a period of 6 (six) months from retrieval. If the Promo Code is not redeemed by the end of this period, the Promo Code will expire and no additional Promo Codes, extensions of the Promo Code or additional offers will be made to such Eligible Customer.

13. Eligible Customers who successfully redeem the Promo Codes will be given limited time free access to SonyLIV premium subscription.

14. Eligible Customers who successfully redeem the Promo Codes will be able to utilize Ooredoo Flix 250 Add on / Euro Cup Pack as well as the Social Data Allowance on Ooredoo Aachaa Postpaid 600, Ooredoo Aachaa Postpaid 800 and Ooredoo Aachaa Postpaid 1000 plans for their limited time free access to SonyLIV premium subscription through web link and/or SonyLIV’s mobile android application, under this Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion. 

15. Unless otherwise specified, each Promo Code can be used only once.

16. Promo Codes offered to Eligible Customers are non-transferable and shall not be sold or redeemed for cash or other consideration.

General

17. Whether a Promo Code is retrieved or not and/or whether a retrieved Promo Code is redeemed or not, Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer will only be made to each Eligible Customer only once.

18. For Eligible Customers’ use of the SonyLIV premium subscription, terms of use as provided via the redemption page of SonyLIV (https://www.sonyliv.com/activate_offer) shall apply.

19. No reimbursement will be provided to any Eligible Customers who do not utilize the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer or benefits provided thereunder.

20. Ooredoo reserves the right to cancel the offer to any Eligible Customer at any time at its sole and entire discretion, including but not limited to instances where an Eligible Customer has misused or abused the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion offer or breached any part of the applicable terms and conditions.

21. Ooredoo may at any time by its sole and entire discretion chose to suspend, revoke or terminate the Euro Cup SonyLIV Promotion without any liability whatsoever to any Customer.
