Position: IT System Administrator

Department: Technology / SOC

Work Location: Hulhumale'

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for administration and maintenance of ICT data centre infrastructure which includes OSS/BSS, ESS, VAS & application server’s hardware, OS and storage.
  • Ensure system backups, routine maintenance, patch management and hot fixes. Configuration diagrams specific to virtualization environment are approved and documentation is aligned as per guidelines.
  • Provide L2 production support, migration and build cloud-based technologies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT or in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar role.

Job Purpose

  • Implement and maintain information security program, framework, policy standards, and related reporting to ensure information assets are fully protected.
  • Ensure and mitigate IS risk during development of new products and applications, vulnerability assessments are performed as required. Issues are addressed on time.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Understanding of network IT security disaster recovery standards and procedures in a telecom environment.

  • Adhere to deadlines on deliverables, communicate on ongoing partners and internal stakeholders about contractual issues, negotiation & decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and target pricing.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and persuasive skills is desired.

Job Purpose

  • Implement and maintain Information Security program, including framework, policies, reporting process with SDLC (Secure System Development Life-cycle) process, Vulnerability Assessments (ethical hacks) are performed as required, issues and incidents are closed with proactive suggestions.
  • Ensure development of new products and applications, risks are mitigated during the products and system development process, Disaster Recovery standards and procedures are maintained.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Graduate in Information Technology, Engineering in IT, Computer Science preferred. 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
